Week 5: Slowing Down

Is it possible to craft our lives in such a way that it gives us a freedom to experience God? I believe that there is a way for us to breathe freshness and vitality to us daily. For most people in the typical Evangelical church, the phrase “Rule of Life” does not get thrown around much. But a Rule of Life is a structure or rhythm for our lives that enables us to pay attention to God in everything we do.

Here are some great examples of other people’s Rule of Life:

Week 4: Slowing Down

Why were you put here on this earth? Were you made to simply exist? Or could it be that you were made to participate in God’s plan for redemption? Your life is valuable in God’s Kingdom and your life has a purpose for what He wants to do. We often miss the significance we can make because we fail to realize how God can use us. This lesson we talked about Slowing Down to Participate in God’s Mission.

As you watch this teaching lesson I want you to ask yourself this simple question: how can I align my life more with what God is doing around me?
